We all enjoyed our Halloween and were quite glad it did not rain on us this year like last year. All of us had to sing a song at one house. Augustin sang a song from Barney! Will, Alyssa and I did not sing a song. Augustin's costume was a Barney costume! Will's costume was a Robin Hood costume! Alyssa was Sporty Spice [one of the Spice Girls] and I [Caroline] was Madeline! We all had a great and fun night!
Space

What a wonderful launch. The weather on that day at Cape Canaveral was a beautiful 28C sunny day with no clouds in the sky. Everyone loved it especially Bill Clinton who cried next to his wife when it took off, looking through his binoculars. We all loved the launch and we wish John Glenn and his fellow crew all the best.

La Nina, which was also discovered first by the people of Peru means in Spanish "little girl", or as some other people call it El Viejo which means "old man". Meteorologists have called both El Nino and El Nina part of some thing called the ENSO cycle, which is the warming and cooling of the oceans caused by El Nino and La Nina. These temperature fluctuations usually occur for 7-8 months and usually happen about every 7 years.

2,297 Part IIt was a cold day in April and the clock was striking 13. It was the year 2,297. My family and I were just about to leave from terminal 6 in Toronto. We were going to Vancouver to visit my Grandma and Grandad. Our flight was just called, we were going to fly a S8 a supersonic jet. Once we were in the air it took about an hour to get there.

Vancouver had a population of 8 million and it was very warm, about 32o C. The streets were quite busy underground but the traffic was moving nicely above ground. We were going to my grandparent's apartment right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It took us about 5 minutes to get there going on the new auto-drive tunnel under Vancouver. Once we reached their building we parked our rental car in the parking garage and brought our bags to the express elevator. We pushed for floor 112 and in about 2 minutes we were there.
